According to multiple reports, Samsung will launch its next set of smartphones with foldable displays at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July. Yesterday, the brand even released a teaser for it. Evidences suggest that it will have three devices: the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fan Edition (FE).
With less than two months to go, Samsung is getting these devices certified from various authorities. Now, the company has gotten them certified from Indonesia’s TKDN, giving us one more piece of evidence about their existence, which also suggests that their launch is near and the tech giant will bring them to Indonesia.
Indonesia’s TKDN has certified three Samsung smartphones with model numbers SM-F761B, SM-F766B, and SM-F966B. Going by previous reports, these model numbers belong to the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Fold 7, respectively.
The listing confirms the existence of the device and suggests that their launch is near and that the brand will launch them in Indonesia. Sadly, apart from saying that they support 5G connectivity, the listing doesn’t reveal any features of the three devices.
That being said, thanks to multiple leaks and rumors, we already have a clear idea about what they are going to offer.
Starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, it is expected to offer larger outer and inner displays, a newer, more powerful, and more efficient SoC, and an upgraded camera setup compared to its predecessor.
Coming to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, it is expected to offer larger outer and inner displays and a new, more powerful, and more efficient chipset as well, compared to the ongoing model. However, instead of a camera upgrade, it will come with a larger battery than its predecessor.
As for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE, which Samsung will launch as a more affordable version of the Galaxy Z Flip 7, expect it to offer features similar to those of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, albeit offering a less powerful processor, slightly better camera setup, and a larger battery.
